FAQ

How do I power Infinite Jets?

Infinite Jets requires a 9V DC center-negative power supply capable of supplying >200mA of current.

Will Infinite Jets work with a bass guitar?

Yes, you can easily calibrate the pedal for a bass signal and playing volume. In order to do this, simultaneously hold the Bypass and B footswitches for two seconds. You will see the lights flash to acknowledge that you have entered calibration mode. You can then release the footswitches. Play a few notes/chords, and the pedal will adjust itself to your playing. It will flash the same short animation when it has finished calibrating. These settings will be retained between power cycles, so it is only necessary to perform these steps when switching instruments.

Will Infinite Jets work with a synth?

Infinite Jets operates at instrument level while most synthesizers operate at line level. When using a synth, we recommend using a reamp box between the instrument and the pedal in order to bring the synth’s line level down to instrument level. As an alternative to a reamp box, keeping the synth output at a low volume can keep the signal from clipping or distorting. It is important to recalibrate the Infinite Jets when switching instruments— or in the case of a synth, when adjusting volume. The calibration feature on Infinite Jets allows the user to set the input sensitivity based on the input level.

Where should I put the Infinite Jets in the pedal chain?

We recommend putting Infinite Jets close to the front of the chain. With this placement the pedal will have a stronger accuracy in sampling the user signal. Placing Infinite Jets later in the chain or behind delays or reverbs can cause the pedal to constantly trigger and sample these effects instead of reinterpreting the clean signal. However, this comes down to personal preference. Experimenting with pedal placement is encouraged and often leads to interesting results.

FAQ

How do I power Dream Sequence?

Dream Sequence requires a 9V DC center-negative power supply capable of supplying >200mA of current.

How do I create my own patterns for the Dream Sequence?

You can create custom patterns for the Dream Sequence using either the built-in Pattern Recorder (Accessible by switching to preset position 12 in the User Bank) or via MIDI with a DAW application like Ableton Live or Logic.

How does Dream Sequence's Knob Recording/Automation work?

When you hold down the Bypass switch, Dream Sequence prepares to start recording knob movements. The movements of the Shape, Drive, and Tone Controls can be recorded/played back. To record, hold down Bypass and move one of these controls. Dream Sequence will record the movement of that knob for 4 measures, starting from the time that it was first changed. A light corresponding to that control will fade from red to blue as you near the end of its recording time. When it has finished its 4 bars of recording, the light will blink, and it will begin playing back the movements you recorded. You can then release the Bypass switch. To clear any automation recorded for a control, simply touch it again and move it to your desired position. Dream Sequence will erase any automation recorded for that control. Each control’s movements are recorded separately; erasing or recording one will not affect the others. Once you are satisfied with the changes you’ve made, hold down the two outside footswitches (Tap & Hold) until the lights start blinking to begin saving a preset. Flip the Preset Bank switch to the Saved Bank and choose a save location. Press and hold the two outside footswitches again to save.

How do I save Presets on the Dream Sequence?

Dream Sequence can save any changes you have made to a Preset, including Tempo, Drive, Tone, Shape, Dry Mix, Subdivision, and any Knob Movements you may have recorded. Once you are satisfied with the changes you’ve made, hold down the two outside footswitches (Tap & Hold) until the lights start blinking to begin saving a preset. Flip the Preset Bank switch to the Saved Bank and choose a save location. Press and hold the two outside footswitches again to save.

Does Dream Sequence have MIDI capabilities?

Yes, Dream Sequence has MIDI IN/OUT. The MIDI implementation can be found in our manual here.

Where should I position the Dream Sequence in a pedal chain?

We recommend putting the Dream Sequence early in the chain. With this placement the pedal with shift the fundamental notes/chords of the clean signal. However, this really comes down to personal preference.
